This season’s snack bar manager – Andie
Snack Bar Volunteer Policy
North Torrance Little League is a non-profit all volunteer organization that relies solely on its volunteers to help run the league snack bar. Parents or an approved representative are required to work two shifts per player (Family max, 4 shifts) in the snack bar during regular season. Team managers are exempt from snack bar commitments for their child/player they manage (This does not include assistant coaches, base coaches, field volunteers or team parents).
If you are a “No-Show” for your scheduled shift, and have not taken the responsibility to find a replacement or advise of an absence, you will forfeit your retainer. 48 hour notification is required and should be sent to [email protected]. We are all volunteering our time, so please be respectful of everyone's time and commitment.
Any parents using approved representatives to work their snack bar shifts must coordinate directly with those representatives. We are not responsible for paying your worker or coordinating your schedule. You must only hire the leagues approved teen list.
No more than two teens can work the same snack bar shift. You must note in the sign-up notes if you intend to use a teen.
Snack Bar Duty:
• All volunteers may consume one complimentary meal/beverage during their snack bar shift. This must be eaten outside or in the board room. Please do not provide food to outside family and friends.
• IMPORTANT - Rain Outs: All rain out snack bar days must be rescheduled for a later date. These dates could fall during regular season, playoffs or TOC. Thank you for your support.

Approved Representatives
These are teens who must interview with the Snack Bar Manager. After they are approved, they will be required to attend a mandatory training with the SB Manager. Teens must be 14 years or older.
Not all teens who interview will be permitted to work for the league, however they can work their parents (and only their parents shift). Teens must be able to work with and communicate well with adults. They must have a desire to work and help the league’s parents in the Snack Bar. Any teen under 18 is not allowed to use the grill or the fryer.
